Where Waste Winds Up delivers an overview of yellow co-mingled recycling, or green organic recycling to schools who are interested in expanding their knowledge of waste and recycling processes. While this program is ideal for schools who are in the infancy of their education, presenters can tailor the program to be more in-depth for schools with more advanced knowledge or infrastructure. 

 

Students will gain an understanding of the importance of managing their household resources, the journey from kerbside to recovery centres, and the impact contamination has on resource recovery. This program is beneficial for schools who wish to maximise the number of students reached and gives both students and teachers the opportunity to start or develop their waste education journey. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• A large space (gymnasium or auditorium) with an accompanying screen and audio
